Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter was founded on September 18, 1978 in White Plains, New York. The Chapter consists of college educated and professional men from the Westchester and Rockland county areas who are dedicated to assisting college bound African-Americans through scholarship, social action and community involvement programs.

The chapter operates several programs in accordance with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's national initiatives as well as some of its own creation. These include: an annual Essay Contest, a Mentorship Experience and an annual local Talent Hunt Program where area high school students can demonstrate their artistic capabilities. The chapter also operates the not-for-profit Beta Alpha Alpha Foundation, Inc which annually awards $10,000 in scholarships to deserving young students attending colleges and universities throughout the United States.
